Arthur A. Small II

Arthur A. Small II has been a principal of Parish & Small since 2000. Mr. Small was born in Missoula, Montana, and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1984, Mr. Small graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Rhetoric. In 1988, Mr. Small earned his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Mr. Small is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of California and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, and Central Districts of California. In addition to being a member of the State Bar of California, Mr. Small is also a member of the San Joaquin and Los Angeles County Bar Associations.
Mr. Small has practiced as a civil litigator for more than 18 years. Mr. Small has tried both jury and court trials throughout California concerning diverse issues such as inverse condemnation, employment, commercial contracts, and construction defects. Before joining Mr. Parish’s practice in 1996, Mr. Small was an associate attorney with the law firm of Sullivan, Workman & Dee, located in Los Angeles, California, where Mr. Small was responsible for handling civil litigation matters in the areas of eminent domain, land use, business and commercial disputes. Since joining Mr. Parish, Mr. Small’s practice has continued to emphasize civil litigation and appellate matters involving creditors’ rights, real property, construction, employment, commercial, business litigation and personal injury.
